At Label Tek, we understand that circumstances change. This policy explains your rights and options when cancelling an order, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Your Right to Cancel

As a consumer purchasing online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. This is your statutory cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

In addition to this statutory right, we offer a 14-day returns window from the date of delivery — please refer to our Returns Policy for full details on how to return goods after cancellation.

Cancelling Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order that has not yet been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible:

We will make every effort to stop the order before it leaves our warehouse. If we are able to cancel it in time, a full refund will be issued with no further action required from you.

Please note: Orders are processed promptly during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00 GMT). We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has entered the dispatch process.

Cancelling After Dispatch

If your order has already been dispatched, we are unable to recall it. In this case, you have two options:

  • Refuse delivery: You may refuse to accept the parcel when the courier attempts delivery. It will be returned to us and we will issue a refund once it arrives back at our warehouse.
  • Return the goods: Accept delivery and then return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy within 14 days of receipt.

In both cases, the cost of return postage for a change-of-mind cancellation is the customer’s responsibility. Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable.

How to Submit a Cancellation Request

To exercise your right to cancel, please notify us clearly in writing before the 14-day cancellation period expires. You can do this by:

  • Emailing info@labeltek.co.uk with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel
  • Using the contact form on our Contact Us page

We will acknowledge your cancellation request by email, usually within one working day.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method in GBP (£). Please allow up to 5–10 business days for your bank or card provider to process the credit.

Non-Cancellable Orders

The following cannot be cancelled once production or fulfilment has begun:

  • Custom-printed or personalised label orders made to your specification
  • Orders for goods that have been specially ordered or cut to size at your request

Business Customers

The statutory 14-day cancellation right applies to consumers only (individuals purchasing for personal use). Business customers purchasing for commercial purposes do not have the same statutory cancellation rights, though we will consider reasonable cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis.
